Informational Meeting Portsmouth Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution

Please join Laurie Greaney to discuss what DAR is, how to join, and how DAR will serve the community. Portsmouth has an important place in America's history, from Anne Hutchinson and her followers to the Battle of Rhode Island. Laurie will help you find a DAR patriot in your family tree, including not only soldiers, but anyone who supported the cause of independence by donating funds or materials, serving the town or being impacted by the war. DAR Patriots have been proven not only in the original colonies, but also in Quebec, France, Spain, Netherlands, Cuba, Mexico and what are now the states of Louisiana and California.

Please contact Laurie with any questions at 401-316-4339 (phone/text) or lauriegreaneydar@gmail.com. For more information on the DAR in Rhode Island, visit ridar.org.
