About Skyscrapers: Skyscrapers, Inc. is a group of amateur astronomers who share a love of the sky. Members include knowledgeable veterans and beginning observers who get together regularly to discuss and learn about the science of astronomy. Our monthly meetings usually feature speakers from one of New England’s top schools, including Harvard, MIT and Brown, and cover topics spanning the fields of astronomy and cosmology. Also, several times a year our own members or other amateur astronomers may present talks about their observing experiences. These monthly programs are designed to enlighten both our members and guests. (From the Skyscrapers Inc. website)
Volunteers from Skyscrapers are offering a FREE children's program at local libraries across the state! This program will be held at the library twice a month in the evening hours for ages 6-10. Please join us for an info night on Monday, September 25th from 6-7pm, where volunteers will be here to give details about the program, go over the scheduled meetings and answer any questions you may have! Miss Olivia will also be here to answer questions and help you register your child if you think it is something they will interested in and if it fits into your schedule!
