Teen Pantry Basics with Farm Fresh RI

Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to join us for a pantry basics program, based around putting together a meal that includes protein, fat, carbs, and veggies. Participants will learn about locally sourced food and pairings for a great tasting meal that is nutritionally balanced. If anyone has allergies, we need to know prior to the program, and we cannot guarantee Farm Fresh RI will be able to accommodate. Registration is required and opens in June - space is limited!

Teens: Tie Dye Cake Contest

Our Food Exploration continues with a Tie Dye Cake Decorating Contest!

Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to the library to decorate a cake inspired by the 1960's or 1970's.  One winning design will be chosen to win a prize.  All ingredients provided.  Everyone goes home with a cake!  Registration required.

Mystery Meetup - Selection Party

Join our mystery book club, centered around whodunits, thrillers, and police procedurals!

For our December meeting, we will be reviewing what we read in 2024: what we loved, what we hated!  We'll also nominate titles for the 2025 year ahead.  Bring Your Own Mystery or email us a suggestion and we'll add it to the discussion list.  Pizza and refreshments will be served.
