Fiber Arts Friday
Open to everyone! If you are any type of fiber artist (knitter, crocheter, tatting, hand sewing, felting, etc.,) please join us for an hour of camaraderie and discussion. Bring your latest project, or that project you seem to never pick up. All fiber artists are welcome! Just please no sewing machines or loud equipment. Starting in January, it will also be offered on the 3rd Saturday morning of each month. We hope to see you at one of our monthly events!

Bring your project, your beverage of choice, and even a friend! All are welcome, and no registration is required!
(We will still have our 1st Friday of the month Fiber Arts meetup as well - and you are more than welcome to join us for both!)
Library is Closed
The Library is Closed today. We will reopen on Saturday at 9 am. In case of rain, the reading of the Declaration of Independence will move indoors to the program room but all other library services will be unavailable.

Annual Tree Lighting
We are so pleased to celebrate our annual Tree Lighting with your family...and with Santa! Come to the library on Sunday, December 1st at 5:30 pm to begin the celebration. Santa arrives promptly at 6 pm on a Firetruck (don't be late, you don't want to miss it!)
Medicare Open Enrollment
Get your questions answered about Medicare Annual Open Enrollment Period with Christopher Ireland, Medicare Information, Assistance, and Awareness Program Counselor. Seniors looking for help during the Annual Enrollment Period will be assisted with picking a new health plan and reviewing their options. Annual Open Enrollment is October 15th through December 7th.
No sign up is required for this free informational session.
Library Closes at 4pm
The Library will close at 4 pm today so that we and our local vendors can prepare for The Taste of Portsmouth.
Still need your ticket? We will be selling them at the door when the event begins at 7 pm.
