Overdrive, our e-zone app, and Libby, the new, user friendly app that is based on Overdrive content will be reviewed. E-books, audio books, streaming media and more will be covered. This will be a lecture style class, so no need to bring your devices with you. Registration is required as space will be limited.

FTCM(SS) Joseph Bransfield will discuss what sorts of scams and computer viruses are out there, the best methods to prevent attacks through your computer, smartphone or landline, and how to report attacks once they have occurred. He has spent more than 20 years working in information security.
An introductory class, we will cover the basics of using the iPhone, what the most popular settings mean, and an overview of the app store, iTunes, and popular apps. While you don't need an iPhone to attend, it is recommended. Class is limited to 10 participants. Registration required by signing up here or calling the library.
