Educators from the Norman Bird Sanctuary are coming to teach us all about raptors! Learn about the special adaptations that raptors employ for maximum hunting efficiency. This presentation describes the differences between different groups of raptors, such as hawks and falcons, and highlights local species.

Join Renée Gamba, Director of the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium, to learn about NASA's past lunar missions, and what future plans it may have for the Moon. This family fun program includes engaging hands-activities to learn about our Earth and its nearest neighbor in space! Make craters, learn about moon phases, and more!

All ages - Come see the night sky! We will have telescopes and volunteers will be on hand to point out objects in the night sky. There will be activities in the library as well. Scott Travers from the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, Division of Fish and Wildlife, is hosting a FREE fly tying and fly fishing event. Participants will learn to make their own fresh water flies over a couple of sessions then have the opportunity to fish using the flies they created at a private fly fishing event in Rhode Island. This course is geared towards novices and experienced fly tiers alike.
