Mystery Meetup - A Book Club for Mystery Readers
Welcome to our monthly mystery club!
Join us on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 to discuss a new selection. We will read a variety of mystery stories throughout the year: thrillers, whodunits, cozies, police procedurals, and even books written for teen audiences. This group is open to readers 14+.

Annual Tree Lighting
We are so pleased to celebrate our annual Tree Lighting with your family...and with Santa! Come to the library on Sunday, December 1st at 5:30 pm to begin the celebration. Santa arrives promptly at 6 pm on a Firetruck (don't be late, you don't want to miss it!)
Medicare Open Enrollment
Get your questions answered about Medicare Annual Open Enrollment Period with Christopher Ireland, Medicare Information, Assistance, and Awareness Program Counselor. Seniors looking for help during the Annual Enrollment Period will be assisted with picking a new health plan and reviewing their options. Annual Open Enrollment is October 15th through December 7th.

Wicked Cake Contest
Get ready for the movie premiere with a Wicked Cake Decorating Contest!
Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to the library on their day off to decorate a cake inspired by Wicked. One winning design will be chosen to receive a Wicked Gift Pack. All ingredients provided. Everyone goes home with a cake! Registration required.

Discover Portsmouth Girl Scouts
Our 2024-2025 Girl Scout season has started! Come discover what's great about Girl Scouting with fun traditions, STEM activities, and games with new friends. This event will be a sample meeting to introduce new families to the program, and current volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions. Open to all girls K-12 and their families!!
