Laws of Love and Logic with Author Debra Curtis
Local author Debra Curtis will be the featured guest speaker on Tuesday, April 14 at 6:30 PM at Portsmouth Free Public Library. Curtis’ debut novel set in Portsmouth, RI, Laws of Love and Logic, was picked by Jenna Bush Hager to be included in “Thousand Voices” books, a vibrant home for debut and new authors to discover and promote emerging talent from all over the world.

Rhode Island Colony Tapestry Viewing Party
Join Karen Katin from the Stitchery to hear about the Rhode Island panel from the America's Tapestry Project that celebrate the nation's 250th anniversary. Hand embroidered and sewn by Karen and other local volunteers, this will be your only chance to see our state's panel until the entire project goes on tour in 2027. Karen will give a brief talk about 10:30 about the project, and will be available for the remainder of the time to answer questions and for patrons to drop in to see the tapestry.
