Cribbage for Beginners

Now is your chance to improve your skill at cribbage!  Join experienced cribbage player Carol at Portsmouth Free Public Library and play with others, newcomers and more experienced players alike.  We'll provide the boards and cards, you provide the fun.  This card game uses strategy and decision-making abilities and has roots dating back to the 1600's.  Registration is requested.

Circles and Silence: The Opioid Epidemic

To help support and honor the Portsmouth Prevention Coalition Wellness Week, we ask you to join us in a presentation by David Neil, the Violent Crime Prevention and Community Outreach Coordinator from the United State's Attorney's Office. A short film will be shown called Circles and Silence, an overview of the epidemic will be presented, and multiple speakers will be present to talk about their experiences. A question and answer session will follow.
