An informational session ran by Georgie Cranson (the Portsmouth Prevention Coalition Public Health Coordinator) about the start-up of a county wide girls Youth empowerment group. A little about the group "Empower Her": "Empower Her" is dedicated to fostering mental health, well-being, and body positivity among young women in our community. This initiative aims to create a supportive group setting where girls can engage in meaningful activities that promote self-growth, confidence, and mutual support. By providing a safe and welcoming space, "Empower Her" encourages participants to connect, uplift one another, and build lasting, positive relationships. Through structured activities that inspire growth and resilience, young women can develop the tools they need to thrive and empower themselves and others.
