The Childen's Book Sale will feature hundreds of kids and 'tweens books and DVDs in like new condition. The books are 3 for $1 and DVDs are 50 cents each. This mini book sale will be held outside weather permitting or in the Mello Program Room if raining.
Kenneth Gloss, proprietor of the internationally known Brattle Book Shop in Boston’s Downtown Crossing section, will give a free and open talk about the value of old and rare books. Ken, who is also a frequent guest appraiser on PBS’ Antiques Roadshow, will talk in part about the history of his historic bookshop (www.brattlebookshop.com), which goes back to circa 1825. He is a second-generation owner.

FTCM(SS) Joseph Bransfield will discuss what sorts of scams and computer viruses are out there, the best methods to prevent attacks through your computer, smartphone or landline, and how to report attacks once they have occurred. He has spent more than 20 years working in information security.
Author John "Red" Cummings is the featured guest speaker whose local history books are always of great interest. Cummings has written five highly acclaimed historical true stories since his first book eight years ago.
