Empower Her- Girls Youth Group Informational Session

An informational session ran by Georgie Cranson (the Portsmouth Prevention Coalition Public Health Coordinator) about the start-up of a county wide girls Youth empowerment group. A little about the group "Empower Her": "Empower Her" is dedicated to fostering mental health, well-being, and body positivity among young women in our community. This initiative aims to create a supportive group setting where girls can engage in meaningful activities that promote self-growth, confidence, and mutual support.

Informational Meeting Portsmouth Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution

Please join Laurie Greaney to discuss what DAR is, how to join, and how DAR will serve the community. Portsmouth has an important place in America's history, from Anne Hutchinson and her followers to the Battle of Rhode Island. Laurie will help you find a DAR patriot in your family tree, including not only soldiers, but anyone who supported the cause of independence by donating funds or materials, serving the town or being impacted by the war.
