Teen Craft for a Cause

For teens in grades 6-12: an opportunity to earn up to 2 hours community service hours, or just come complete the craft to help out for a good cause! On the second Saturday of April and May we will have a chance for teens to help spread a little good in the world - from items to donate to local charities to making cards to brighten a sick child's day. No registration required.

Fly Tying Workshop with Scott Travers

Scott Travers from the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, Division of Fish and Wildlife, is hosting a FREE fly tying and fly fishing event.  Participants will learn to make their own fresh water flies over a couple of sessions then have the opportunity to fish using the flies they created at a private fly fishing event in Rhode Island. This course is geared towards novices and experienced fly tiers alike. 

Teen: Jiu-Jitsu with Dean Watts

Teens - Come to this fun, high energy program!   Dean Watts of Rising Sun Jiu-Jitsu will teach some basic self-defense and some participants will break a board!  Registration is required as space is limited for this free program for those entering 6th grade and up in the fall.   Registration begins June 17th.

Teen: Green Screen

Teens - Future Spielbergs take to the "green screen" to create postcards, commercials and mini movies.  They could find themselves walking on the moon, riding a roller coaster or giving a book report in the setting of their favorite book.  MobileQuest will provide the green screen, camera and props and teens provide the creativity.  Registration is required as space is limited for this free program for those entering 6th grade and up in the fall.  Registration begins June 17th.   

Teen Oreo Challenge

Are you ready for the Oreo Challenge? Register, bring your friends, and bring your smartest taste buds because there will be LOTS of Oreos, and you need to figure out the flavors. This is for teens in grades 6-12 only, and registration is required!

Teen Challenge: Pringle Taste Test

Did you participate in our Oreo Challenge last January? Now get ready for our Pringle Challenge! Taste test a bunch of different flavors and see if you can tell which is which. Then, we will follow some "Pringle Recipes" to see if we can create new flavors, like buffalo pizza! Registration is required to prepare supplies, so make sure you recruit your friends and then sign up here.
