Nancy Crawford, URI Master Gardener, will provide a presentation on the value of herbs in your home gardens. Nancy has provided volunteer assistance in the herb garden at Prescott Farm since 2013. The value of growing herbs has been documented since 100 AD. long before modern medicines came into being. Called “plants for use and delight”, herbs have been grown for household, culinary, and medicinal purposes for hundreds of years.
