For Teens:



The Teen Summer Program registration is under way.  

Sign up today for programs this summer!

June 26th - 6:00 pm -  Mermaid Masterpieces  Kick off the summer program with a paint party! Rebecca Killian will be here teaching you how to make your own local masterpiece. All supplies will be provided—just bring your creativity! Registration required.

July 7th - 2:30 pm  - Candy  Sushi  - Join us as we create delicious sushi - out of candy.  Registration required.  Grades 6 and up in the fall.

July 13th - 2 pm - Eric Fulford—Comic Art - Learn the building blocks of basic comic design.  Together you will create a silly, zany comic strip.

July 22nd  - 10 am - Tees for Tweens & Teens  Learn how to create a decal to personalize your T-shirt and then decorate your shirt. *This  program is open to Tweens and Teens, grades 5-12.

July 27th - 2 pm - Ka Yan Kan—Henna - Learn about the ancient art and process of Henna, then select your own tattoo and Ka Yan will create her artwork on your skin!  Participants will receive a free sample to work with on their own and bring home. Permission slips and pre-registration required. 

July 28th - 10:30 am - 13 Reasons Why - St. Andrews School Summer Arts Conservatory will present this play with a discussion afterwards.  Sign up today in the teen area or by calling the library at 683-9457.

August 1st - 2 pm  - Outdoor Program - Water games and squirt gun painting.  Dress to get wet and be outside.  Registration required. 

August 8th - 2 pm  - Sewing with Karen Katin  Create your own zippered pouch! We provide all materials and the sewing machines, and Karen will take you step by step to sew your own bag made out of empty candy bags/wrappers. Registration required.

August 12th - 11 am - Pizza party for those who have finished at least one bingo board or 4 book slips.

We'll also have weekly activities and a design contest.  Stop by the library for more information!

August 29th - Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella

We meet at 6:30 pm.  Snacks are provided.  All ages are invited to join the discussion.  Each month the book is available to borrow at the circulation desk.
