It's hard to believe that winter is here when it's so warm out! But if you are spending lots of time indoors right now, we have lots of new books and books on CD, DVDs and blu-rays for you to enjoy. When winter boredom strikes, there are programs for all ages at the library - calligraphy, cooking and computer classes, book groups and children's story times.
We hope to see you soon.
Follow us on Facebook to get reminders of events and other library information. You can find us at https://www.facebook.com/portsmouthpubliclibraryri
We also have a Facebook page dedicated to teen events and information. You can find that page at https://www.facebook.com/portsmouthteens
You may have noticed a special section of the library designated as the PORTSMOUTH HISTORY CENTER. It was made possible by the generous donations and sponsorships of Portsmouth’s 375th celebration in 2013. Visit the associated Portsmouth History Center web site where we are starting to build a digital archive of Portsmouth documents and artifacts at www.portsmouthhistorycenter.org. We will continue to build this digital archive of history items.
